Sindarius Thornwell Is Getting Used To New Life

LA Clippers guard and former Gamecock Sindarius Thornwell was signing autographs in the upstate and he realizes that his life has changed since being drafted in June.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Up in Myrtle Beach Sindarius Thornwell made an appearance at Graham Golf Cars Tuesday afternoon. The former Gamecock and now LA Clippers guard came in to sign autographs and take pics with fans.

The Lancaster native and second round NBA draft pick will also be hosting his first basketball camp on September 9th at the Upward Star Center in Spartanburg.

With a camp on the schedule and Clippers training coming up in the fall Thornwell is realizing that his life is different now that he's in the NBA.

"The most challenging part is not even the basketball court. It's just the off the court stuff. Just realizing I can't do regular stuff. I can't go out and about and think it's going to be normal anymore. Everybody knows everything now so that's the real hard part for me," Thornwell said.

But at the end of the day there's nothing like South Carolina to help keep him grounded.

"When I come back home everyone stops me and congratulates me and everybody's been so supportive."

LA Clippers training camp will be this fall at the University Of Hawaii.
