USC Football Lands Three Commits

The Gamecocks football program picked up two verbal commits for 2018 and one to start their 2019 class after hosting a one last camp during a two-day recruiting event.

COLUMBIA, SC - If you follow Will Muschamp on Twitter you may notice he tweets Hashtag SpursUp when USC lands a recruit. We saw that Spurs Up tweet not once but three times on Saturday. South Carolina landed three commits.

 

 

The first was from Jesus Gibbs. A six-foot-four, 265 pound offensive lineman out of Dumfries, Virginia. He's a three star prospect out of Potomac High School. USC beat out NC State and UVA for his verbal commitment.

 

 

The second commit is three star wide out Tyquan Johnson, At six-foot-three he caught 13 touchdown passes for Screven County High in Slyvania, Georgia. Johnson picked USC over Kentucky and Mississippi State. Johnson and Gibbs are 2018 commits.

 

 

Ahdarrious Gee committed for 2019. Gee is a three star linebacker out of Crisp County High School in Cordele, Georgia. He's the first commit for the 2019 class.
 

The Gamecocks held a big recruiting weekend with over 600 high school football players on campus and it looks like it payed off.
