USC Hires A New Pitching Coach

COLUMBIA, SC - The South Carolina baseball team has picked up a another coach. USC announced on Monday that Skylar Meade will join Mark Kingston's staff as his newest pitching coach. Meade replaces Jerry Meyers who is on an indefinite leave of absence because of his health.

Meade has coached at Middle Tennessee State, Eastern Illinois and he spent the last three years at Michigan State. The Spartans led the Big Ten in ERA in 2016 and posted their best three years in strikeouts under Meade.

The former Louisville pitcher who played in the College World Series back in 2007 has produced multiple MLB draft picks all-conference pitchers.
