USC Soccer Player Starts International Career

COLUMBIA, SC - The South Carolina soccer program has produced another pro. Recent USC grad Sophie Groff has joined a professional women's League in Iceland. Groff signed with Keflavik FC this week.

The Grapevine, Texas native finished her USC career in the top 10 of 7 different categories for the Gamecocks. She is fifth all time in goals with 24 and was All-SEC Second team this past season for USC.

Groff could help put them over the top. Keflavik is in fourth place in their league and their season wraps up in September.
