USC Women's Soccer Headed To The Elite 8

COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX) - Saturday night in the Graveyard at Stone Stadium the USC women's soccer team faced the BYU Cougars in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
After a scoreless first half USC's Savannah McCaskill was fouled in the goalie box and that means USC would be awarded a penalty kick.
Just like she did in the regular season against Florida USC captain Chelsea Drennan drills the PK and gives USC a 1-0 lead in the 69th minute. It was her 8th goal of the season for USC.
USC will play the winner of the North Carolina/Clemson game in the next round. Clemson and UNC play this afternoon at 1 pm ET.
