Swansea, SC (WLTX) --- When Swansea defeated Silver Bluff last Friday night, senior linebacker Ben Dawson was going about his business in his own special way.
Dawson is the typical leader by example, a player who doesn't show a lot of emotion, but approaches the game with a quiet intensity.
It's that same approach that Dawson uses in the classroom and it must be working as he is ranked in the top 10 of his senior class.
His qualites as a person are what helped him win election as the vice-president of the senior class and earn the honor of being the latest News19 Player of the Week.
