Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- A four-year starter on a team that has won the last two state championships in Class 2A, Quinton Johnson is a vital weapon for the Keenan basketball team.
However, Quinton says that he is bothered more when he doesn't reach his potential on a test. It's that attitude that has helped him reach a GPA of a little more than 3.3. Johnson says that his grades have come the hard way, through a lot of time studying and making sure he has his work completed by the deadline.
Deadlines is something Quinton hopes he will be dealing with after he graduates from college. His plan is to major in Communications and become a sportswriter - a career that would combine his passion for sports and his creativity through words.
