Kershaw, SC (WLTX) --- Grayson King is a three-year starting quarterback for the North Central football team, but baseball is his best sport.
The standout pitcher will play on the next level a Francis Marion where he will major in business administration.
But his priority now is leading the Knights' football team to a strong finish to close out the regular season.
In the classroom, King is sporting a 3.4 grade point average which ranks his 21st in the senior class.
Head coach Louis Clyburn says King is one of the many examples at North Central of athletes taking care of their schoolwork in addition to their work in their chosen sport.
Grayson is also active in the community where he volunteers as a mentor to freshman students, takes part in a youth group at his church and attends a summer program that helps build house for those families who are financially challenged.
