Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Brad Mills fired five scoreless innings in his
Angles' debut and the Halos blanked the Baltimore Orioles, 6-0, in the finale
of a four-game set Sunday at Angel Stadium.
Mills (1-0) allowed just three hits and struck out six as he made the start in
place of righty Dan Haren, who is still suffering from lower back stiffness.
Albert Pujols crushed a two-run homer, while Mike Trout, Mark Trumbo and Erick
Aybar each belted solo shots to help the Angels improve to 7-2 against the
Orioles this season.
Wei-Yin Chen (7-5) was charged for five runs on five hits and three walks to
absorb the loss. The Orioles managed just five hits as a team and were shut
out for the second straight game and the sixth time this season.
