Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Patriots revealed that veteran
tackle Matt Light will announce his retirement at a Monday press conference.
A mainstay at the left tackle position, the 33-year-old Purdue product
appeared in 155 games -- all but two of those starts -- since being selected
by the Patriots in the second round of the 2001 draft.
He was a vital part of three Super Bowl champions and was named to the AFC Pro
Bowl team in 2006, 2007 and 2010.
