Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - David Perron registered two goals, including the
game-winner, and an assist, as the St. Louis Blues edged the Dallas Stars,
4-3, at American Airlines Center.
Chris Stewart and Wade Redden also tallied for the Blues, who improved to
4-1-0 on the season. Jaroslav Halak made 20 saves.
Michael Ryder, Tomas Vincour and Ryan Garbutt scored for Dallas, which played
without Jaromir Jagr (lower-back) and Derek Roy (groin).
Cristopher Nilstorp, making his second NHL start, departed in the third period
after allowing four goals on 29 shots. Kari Lehtonen stopped all three shots
he faced in relief.
