Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Henrik Zetterberg scored an empty-net goal in
the final seconds to complete a hat trick, as the Detroit Red Wings cooled off
the St. Louis Blues, 5-3, on Friday.
Zetterberg also had two assists for the Red Wings, who avenged a 6-0 loss to
these Blues on Jan. 19. Jonathan Ericsson recorded a goal and an assist.
Jimmy Howard made 23 saves for Detroit, which has won consecutive games for
the first time this season.
Kevin Shattenkirk, Matt D'Agostini and Patrik Berglund scored for the Blues,
who had a four-game winning streak snapped.
Jaroslav Halak gave up two goals on 11 shots before leaving late in the first
period with an injury. Brian Elliott stopped 17-of-19 shots in relief.
