St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - David Perron scored in the third period to
lift the St. Louis Blues over the Columbus Blue Jackets, 2-1, on Saturday.
Chris Stewart also scored for the Blues, who snapped a two-game skid. Jaroslav
Halak made 18 saves.
The victory comes just one day after St. Louis placed standout rookie Vladimir
Tarasenko on injured reserve. Tarasenko suffered a concussion during
Wednesday's 1-0 overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
Matt Calvert scored the lone goal for the Blue Jackets, who fell to 1-4-0 on a
six-game road trip. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 21-of-23 shots.
Columbus was without center Artem Anisimov, who suffered a head injury during
Thursday's 3-2 win over the Red Wings. Anisimov was released from a Detroit
hospital on Friday.
