Annapolis, MD (WLTX) -- One of the pilots of the US Navy's Blue Angels set Social Media on fire Tuesday when he took a "Selfie" mid-air above the US Naval Academy in Annapolis.
Lt. Commander Nate Barton, a Pennsylvania native who has been flying with the U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron since 2012, flies the Left Wing position in dozens of air shows around the country every year.
As a part of the U.S. Naval Academy's Commissioning Week leading up to the Naval Academy's Graduation ceremony on May 23rd, the Blue Angels are set to perform an air show above Annapolis today (Wednesday,) and LCDR Barton elected to have a second fun with his iPhone (visible in the refection) by taking a photo, what is termed "Selfie," while flying vertical above Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on the Naval Academy grounds.
