The Main Street Latin Festival has been going for 11 years strong, and folks can't get enough of the music, food and fun.
"You make new friends, you meet old friends and you get together and just have a great time," Angel Arieta said.
For years, the Main Street Latin Festival has been bringing the City of Columbia out in droves.
Arieta has been here since the beginning.
"It's been a blast, every year me, my family we all get together, we always pick a little spot and we're always here and I love it," Arieta said.
A little music gets the people going, no matter how young or old.
But some say it's really the food that everyone comes for.
"This is not bland, this is not food that you put salt and pepper on top of it," Carlos Centeno said.
Centeno and other church members run a food tent, where the chicken kebobs and empanadas are the crowd favorite.
He said a family recipe is what keeps people coming back for more.
"I have my own seasonings that were passed down from my mom down to us," Centeno said.
Whether it's the plantains or the meringue you were searching for, the Main Street Latin Festival had what suits your palette.
"They get a taste of all of the Latin food, all of the people, the culture, the dancing and the music it's just great," Arieta said
