Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- In 2007 Shena Mobley was diagnosed with Hodgkins' Lymphoma, and in August of this year, doctors told Mobley her cancer had become terminal.

Wendesday she passed away at the age of 29.

News 19's Sydney Cummins visited with the family and friends of Shena on Friday the 19th to tell her story and, in part, to request the community's assistance in support for Mobly and her six children.

No word yet on funeral arrangements for Shena, but according to WLTX contacts, the family is seeking support to cover funeral expenses.

If you'd like to make a monetary donation, you can drop checks off at any First Citizens' Bank, made payable to the Shena Mobley fund.
