Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies are searching for a man they say robbed a convenience store Tuesday.

Officers say the suspect took money from the Kangaroo Express located at 3950 Augusta Road.

According to an incident report, the suspect entered the store just before 11 p.m.and asked if he could use the restroom. The employee said there wasn't a public restroom that he could use.

At that point, the report states the man wentaround the counter and stood behind the clerk. She reported feeling a blunt object in her back, and he demanded money from her.

Eventually, he shoved her out of the way, told her to get on the ground, then put his foot on her back. The report states he also threatened her.

After getting the cash, he ran out of the store.
