Spartanburg, SC (WLTX) --- Newberry's Trahjare Reeder has not been at school this week, but he has a good excuse.

Reeder is in Spartanburg getting ready for Saturday's Shrine Bowl, the annual event featuring the best players in the Carolinas going head to head

Reeder is currently sporting a 3.5 grade point average and while he describes himself as a quiet leader, he was extremely effective in the Newberry Bulldog lockerroom.

He is getting interest from South Carolina State and Newberry, along with Catawba. A good showing in Saturday's all-star game could open some more doors for Reeder.
