Lexington, SC (WLTX) -- Lexington County Sheriff's Department deputies arrested a 17-year-old Little Mountain man on burglary and possession of stplen vehicle.
Deputies say Charles Jacob Leo Frick broke into a home on Stevens Creek Road near Chapin and stole jewelry, silver coins and other items worth a combined total of about $2,300.
He is also charged with possessing a stolen 2006 Chevrolet Impala sedan.
Deputies arrested Frick with arrest warrants on charges of second-degree burglary, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen goods and petit larceny.
Frick was being held on Tuesday at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
Arrest warrants allege that at about 8:30 a.m. on December 12 Frick and two 16-year-old boys broke into the Stevens Creek Road home.
Deputies recovered the stolen items at Frick's home and the homes of the two 16-year-old boys. According to officers, they'll recommend that those boys be charged with second-degree burglary and criminal conspiracy in family court.
Arrest warrants further allege that at about 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday deputies found Frick asleep in the driver's seat of the stolen 2006 Chevrolet Impala sedan, which was parked on Stevens Creek Road near Little Mountain, Metts said.
Deputies found mail in the car that had been reported stolen from outside homes on Amicks Ferry Road near Chapin. Frick stole the Chevrolet Impala in Georgia and drove the stolen car to Little Mountain according to authorities.
