Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) --Kenneth Franklin Cutter,37,of Wolfton has been arrested and charged with the murder of Kimberly Parrish.

According to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, investigators discovered Cutter was a friend of Parrish's for "at least four months."

The investigation led deputies to an abandoned house near the suspect's residence, where they say they recovered Parrish's clothing, personal effects, and DNA evidence.

During a press conference Friday, Orangeburg officials stated that, in addition to the evidence found, Cutter was witnessed driving Mrs. Parrish's vehicle, and subsequently located by officials in North.

Due to the area being rural, investigators are conducting an extensive search for Parrish's remains, including the use of cadaver dogs, boats, and air support.

Sheriff Ravenell stated "We want to bring closure to the Parrish family, so we're asking hunters, farmers, and anyone with land near Long Branch Road in North, to be vigilant, and notify law enforcement if you locate anything."

30 year old Kimberly Parrish disappeared after picking up her paycheck on December 21st at the Helping Hands Care Giver facility.
