Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The Fashionista Daddy commercial is in a neck and neck competition for coveted Super Bowl Ad time.

"We were trying to do something that would draw people in," said Irmo High and USC graduate Pierce Cook.

Cook shared his experience workingas the commercial's cinematographerfrom his apartment in Los Angeles.

"The job of the cinematographer was to,based on what the director wants,make the visual look of the piece," said Cooke. "I personally wasn't very sure how far we would get. I thought we had a great commercial but there are a lot of great people out there creating ads."

In the commercial, one of the producer's daughters asks her dad to play dress up and have tea in exchange for a bag of Doritos. It turns into a dress up party with Doritos to spare.

The commercial only hits the airwaves if it receives enough votes through an online Facebook competition.

"I mean its defiantlydaunting to go up against all the other add agencies and so on that are producing these super bowl commercials," said Cook. "In the end, regardless, I was fortunate to work with a great team of people, and to work on a commercial that even had an opportunity to air during the super bowl. I've wanted to make movies since I was 11, so this is right up there with the kind of caliber of projects I've wanted to be involved with."
