Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are searching for a suspect they say robbed a Columbia pharmacy.

Officers say the suspect entered the Rite Aid at 1501 Broad River Road around 6 p.m. Monday.

According to police, the man walked up to the counter and demanded several controlled substances. Witnesses say he lifted his sweatshirt to show what appeared to be a handgun tucked in his pants.

After getting the drugs, the man left the store without hurting anyone.
