Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for a man they say stole copper from two businesses.

Officers want to find 24-year-old Lyndon Lamar Douglas Jr. He's wanted on two counts of burglary, two counts of transportation of stolen nonferrous metals, and for receiving stolen goods.

Investigators say on December 13, Douglas broke into Fairfield Electric Cooperative at 701 Blythewood Road. According to deputies, he took 300 feet of number six copper, 200 feet of 1/0 copper, and 200 feet of 4/0 copper with an estimated value of $2,500.

On December 6, officers say he went to the SCE&G site at 10770 Farrow Road. Officers say he cut a hole in the fence and stole 685 pounds of copper from four trucks. The copper had an estimated value of $5,000.
