Lexington, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a man they say is connected to kidnapping and murder of a West Columbia man.

Deputies say 36-year-old Jamey Mallette of Gaston is the second suspect to be arrested in connectionto thedisappearance of 22-year-old Michael George. Detectives say they also arrested 34-year-old William "Tommy" Embree Jr., with the murder and kidnapping of George on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.

According to officials, George was taken from Shooter's Bar near Cayce between 10pm on December 23, 2011 and 5:30am December 24, 2011. George's brother contacted the Sheriff's Department on December 25, 2011 and reported his brother missing.

George's 1994 black Nissan Sentra was found parked on Beckman Road near West Columbia, but his body has not been found.

Mallette is being held at the Lexington County Detention Centerwhileawaiting a bond hearing.
