Sumter, SC (WLTX) - A former Sumter school bus driver and a bus monitor are facing charges after a 5-year-old child with autism was left on a bus Monday.

Monday morning, Montreal Johnson got on a bus at 7 a.m. to go to Kingsbury Elementary.
He was supposed to be dropped off at his school but fell asleep in the bus. The bus ended up at Sumter High School, where another bus driver later checked the bus and found the boy after four hours.
District officials say they firedBradley and Reynolds after learning what happened. District policy is to check buses after students get off.
