Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- The USC basketball program has certainly gone through a period of transition in the first year of the Frank Martin era and two players have seen that transition first hand.

Lakeem Jackson and walk-on Shane Phillips were honored prior to the start of the Mississippi State game Wednesday night.

Jackson has 749 career points and 557 rebounds. Phillips has been of note of late after playing a career-high 13 minutes at Texas A&M on Saturday where he scored thefirst basket of his career and handed out a career-best three assists.
