Knoxville, TN (WLTX) --- 11th ranked South Carolina pounded out a season-high 17 hits en route to a 12-8 victory at Tennessee Saturday.

Senior southpaw Adam Westmoreland allowed just one hit in six innings of relief work. The Gamecocks are now 25-7 and 7-4 in the league with Tennessee now 13-16 and 3-8 in the SEC.

The Gamecocks can sweep the series Sunday when the teams meet once more at 2 p.m.
