Knoxville, TN (WLTX) --- Eleventh ranked South Carolina used a season-high 21 hits to propel themselves to a 19-2 win over Tennessee Sunday.

There has been no lack of offense against the Volunteers. In three games with Tennessee, Carolina tallied 36 runs and 45 hits. Sunday's run total(19) were the most in a game for USC since they racked up 24 vs. College of Charleston in 2011.

Sophomore southpaw Jordan Montgomery made his return to the hill. He hurled four scoreless innings with no walks and two strikeouts.

South Carolina is back in action on Tuesday hosting The Citadel. First pitch at Carolina Stadium is set for 7 p.m
