Richland County, SC (WLTX) - The Richland County deputy shot in the line of duty has received a new bulletproof vest.

Point Blank Armour presented Sheila Aull with the new equipment Tuesday.

Deputies say a domestic violence suspect shot Aull back in late February. Aull's old vest is what saved her life.

Aull says she's thankful to have this new vest, and understands what could've been had she not been wearing one.

Thanks to the lifesaving equipment, Aull returned to workthree days after being shot.
