Prosecutors say Parker shot and his wife Tammy and his gambling partner Bryan Capnerhurst in April of 2012 at the Parkers' home in Irmo. The Richland County Chief Medical Examiner testifiedThursday morning about the autopsies ofTammy Parker and Capnerhurst.

During that testimony Brett Parker became inconsolable, was in tears and could barely stand. That's when deputies escorted him out of the courtroom.

Parker's mother told News19 that he had a panic attack and was taken for treatment.

The trial was to have resumed around 1:45 p.m., but at 2:30 p.m., Judge DeAndrea Benjamin dismissed jurors for the day.

Prosecutors believe Brett Parker killed the two victims in a premeditated act. Parker's attorneys have argued that Capnerhurst killed Tammy Parker, and Brett Parker killed Capnerhurst in self-defense.
