Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Bond was set Thursday night at $300,000 for Dominique Grant in theGabbie Swainson case.
The 27-year-oldis charged with accessory after the fact of a felony in connection with the teenager'sdisappearance.
Her father, 53-year-old Freddie Grant, is the chief suspect in the disappearance of Gabbiee Swainson.
Swainson has been missing since August of 2012. Sheriff Leon Lott has said repeatedly that he believes FreddieGrant took Swainson from her home last August. Investigators say Grant had been in a relationship with the girl's mother.
Deputies say Dominique Grant took Swainson's cell phone and placed it behind a Piggly Wiggly store in Myrtle Beach. A delivery truck driver found the phone back on June 18th.
Investigators say they determined that Dominique Grant was in Myrtle Beach days before the cell phone was recovered.
Sheriff Leon Lott believes Freddie and Dominique Grant have information on what happened to Swainson, and are working together to thwart the investigation.
Investigators say Swainson's DNA was found in Grant's home in Elgin. Grant has not yet gone on trial for charges connected to her disappearance.
