Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are looking for a suspect they say forced a woman at gunpoint to perform a sex act on him.

The incident took place around 5 a.m. on August 17th in the 5900 block of Main Street, which is near where the road meets Colonial Drive.

The victim told officers that as she walked down the road, a suspect in a car pulled up and asked her to get inside. After telling the man several times no, she then agreed to get in the vehicle.

The suspect then drove her to the 4800 block of Muir Street. Officers say the suspect then put a gun to her head and forced her to perform sex acts on him.

According to police, the victim got away from him by telling the suspect she was about to get physically sick. When the suspect pulled over, the woman ran away and hid until he drove off.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention.

AState Law Enforcement Division forensic artist has designed a sketch of what the suspect may look like.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with a yellow 'crest-like shield' emblem. or symbol with light colored blue jeans and possibly boots.
