Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- The Vista location of the Wild Wing Café was rocking Tuesday evening with the annual USC pep rally featuring Cocky, cheerleaders and head coach Steve Spurrier who brought his weekly radio call-in show to the outdoor stage.

With kickoff less than 48 hours away, fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the 2013 season, some have been planning their tailgaiting activities for months - one fan compared it to preparing for a wedding.

The pep rally has become an annual event and always takes place two days prior to the season opener. With USC and North Carolina kicking off Thursday, the event was moved up two days.

Wild Wing manager Alyssa Galloway says this is a big week for her restaurant with the pep rallywhich serves asone of the kickoff events of the game week.
