Lexington, SC (WLTX) - A school bus and anSCE&G vehiclecollided in West Columbia Thursday morning.

The collision took place just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 21 and Old Wire Road. Lexington School District Two Superintendent Dr. Venus Holland says the bus driver was picking up special needs students from Busbee Creative Arts Academy when thewreck happened.

Three children and the driver were aboard. One of the students received cuts to the face, but Holland saidthe other two did not appear to be injured, and were treated on the scene by school nurses.The driver and the childrenwere all transported to Lexington Medical Center as a precaution.

The driver of the SCE&G vehicle alsowas transported to the hospital for treatment.

It's stillunclear what led up to the crash.
