Newberry, SC --- The Newberry Wolves forced four Mars Hill turnovers on the way toa 24-10 win at Setzler Field on Saturday night.

With the win, Newberry moves to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the South Atlantic Conference for the second straight year. Mars Hill is now 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the league.

The Wolves snapped a five-year losing streak against the Lions.

Cornerback Brice Green had two interceptions, including one in the endzone in the fourth quarter.

Newberry quarterback W.T. Murdencompleted 10-of-14 passes for 182 yards. The former Airportstandout threwa 49-yard touchdown pass to Corey Washington and ran for another score.

Newberry travels to Wingate (1-2, 0-1 SAC) for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff next Saturday.
