Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- A 24 year-old man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for robbery, drug trafficking, and prostituting minors.

According to U.S. District Attorney Bill Nettles, Joshua "Metro" Kitt, was sentenced to 14 years in prisonfor conspiracy to commit racketeering in Federal Court on Monday.

Nettles states that evidence demonstrated Kitt's participation in drug trafficking, multiple robberies, and interstate prostitution of woman and minor girls, using a website posting classified advertisements.

The U.S. Attorney stated that some of the victims involved were under the age of 18.

The evidence presented indicates Kitt, along with other members of a gang he was a member of, would act as the "pimps" for the women and girls, managing the activities and finances of the victims.

Kitt admitted in a plea agreement to drug trafficking and robbery, as well as the prostitution charges.
