(WLTX) - This USC-Clemson showdown will be a top-10 matchup for the first time in the rivalry's history.

Both teams are ranked in the top 10of both the USA TODAY/Coaches and Associated Press polls.

USC is 9th in the Coaches and 10th in the AP. Clemson is 4th in the coaches and 6th in the AP.

This Saturday will be the 111th meeting between the two schools. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Each team is also in the running for a potential BCS bowl bid. South Carolina could make their first appearance in one of those bowls by getting into the SEC Championship game and winning. (They of course need Missouri to lose to Texas A&M to do that.) If Clemson wins, they could make the top four of the final BCS standings, guaranteeing them a slot.
