Columbia, SC (WLTX)-A former University of South Carolina student said he has been captivated by the Gamecock culture and wants to share his excitement for the team.
Photojournalist Sean Rayford is behind the lens for every home game and he hopes his images will soon be in your home.
Rayford stepped onto the USC campus in 1997. The Media Arts Major said he had never been to a college football game. One day, that soon changed when he received a phone call from the school newspaper.
"It's still the same stadium," Rayford said. "We're just winning games now and it makes it a lot more enjoyable."
He has been capturing images for more than 15 years and is raising money to get a book published, 'Great to be a Gamecock.' He is using an artistic website called Kickstarter.
Rayford said he went to every single home game at Williams-Brice Stadium in 2013. He recently returned from the Bowl game in Orlando, Florida to take photos of Carolina fans.
This isn't his first published book. Last year, he captured musicians in a book called 'Two Star Hotel.' Rayford has also shot for many local media outlets and also for USA TODAY.
He said he hopes these images will end up on hundreds of gamecock fans coffee tables and in local book stores.
Rayford has raised $1,160 on Kickstarter to publish his book. He has ten days left to reach his goal of $2,200.
