YORK, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man fired a gun into a community of Muslim families in York County.
The Herald of Rock Hill reports (http://bit.ly/1dVK0Eo ) that deputies went to Islamville at around 8 p.m. Dec. 21 after residents reported hearing gunshots and racial slurs from a neighbor.
Deputies saw Joshua Allen Casey walking out of a wooded area that separates his home from the community.
Casey was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct and illegally discharging a firearm. He says he is being wrongfully accused and didn't fire any shots.
