Columbia, SC (WLTX)--The Oliver Gospel Mission is asking the community to donate a few items, ahead of the winter storm expected over the next few days.

Officials with the mission say they will add another 32 mats to the 100 beds they provide on a regular basis. This indoor space will be available to the homeless during the day and meals will also be provided.

They however are asking the public to donate the following items:

sliced loaf bread, cold cuts and cheese slices, peanut butter & jelly, bottled water, flashlights, batteries and financial donations

If you would like to help, the donations can be dropped off at 1100 Taylor Street, before 2pm on January 28th.
