Sumter, SC (WLTX) -- A Special Education teacher at High Hills Elementary, located at Shaw Air Force Base, filed an assault report with the Sumter County Sheriff's Office following an altercation with the school principal that turned physical.

According to the incident report, filed by Sumter Deputy Michael McCauley and obtained from the Sheriff's Department by News 19, states the victim, 36-year-old Dr. Jessica Pena, claims that at approximately 1:30PM on April 1st she got into an argument with the High Hills Elementary school Principal, Maggie Johnson Wright, in the principal's office.

The incident report says that the were discussing the increasing disputes the two were having, and the discussion grew into an argument. As things escalated, Pena claims that Wright screamed at Pena to get out (of her office) and grabbed Pena by the arm, dragging her out of the office.

Dr. Pena filed her report with the Sheriff's Department approximately an hour after the incident.

The Sheriff's Department tells News 19 that there is a warrant in place for Wright to appear in court.
