Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- A morning crash involving a Richland District two Special Needs school bus and two other vehicles closed the intersection of Percival Road and Old Percival Road for some time Friday morning.
According to a spokesperson with SC Highway Patrol, the bus was attempting to make a left turn from Percival Road onto Old Percival Road when the car traveling behind the bus slowed, but the car behind that failed to slow down.
The driver of the third car has been charged for driving too fast for conditions.
The crash caused the intersection of Percival Road at Old Percival Road to be closed to traffic for some time Friday morning, causing significant commuter delays from Northeastern Richland County.
The Richland School District Two spokesperson Laura Baker, the Special Needs School Bus was carrying four students at the time of the crash, and no one was hurt.
A second bus arrived at the crash location shortly after the incident, and transported the four students on to their school.
