Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- South Carolina Highway Patrol says a man was killed in a motorcycle collision early Saturday morning.

Authorities say around 12:45 Saturday morning, Lee William Dubois, 37, veered off of Old Lexington highway about 1.8 miles south of Chapin when he was ejected from the vehicle.

Dubois was wearing a helmet, but was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is still under the investigation of the SC Highway Patrol.
