Authorities say a driver left the scene after striking a pedestrian.


Richland County, SC (WLTX) --- South Carolina Highway Patrol says a driver who hit and killed a pedestrian then fled the scene.

The collision occurred before 11 p.m. on Saturday on the 4000 block of Leesburg Road near Lower Richland Boulevard in Richland county.

Authorities say a vehicle struck and killed the pedestrian and proceeded to leave the scene. The vehicle has been identified has a 2012-2014 Honda CRV. The color is unknown, but the vehicle will have damage to the front grill area.

The crash is still under investigation.
