Columbia, SC (WLTX) - There's a fireworks device out there that you need to stay away from this Fourth of July weekend.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the Big Sword fireworks are under recall. It's a mock sword that when you light it, emits sparks from the tip of the device.

However, the company has received two reports of the firework exploding during use. No injuries have been reported.

The device has the "Big Fireworks" logo on it and the words "Big Sword" printed on the front. It as the model number 3609 printed above the product's barcode. They were distributed nationwide between April and June of this year, and cost about $30.

People should not use the devices and return them to the place of purchase to receive a full refund. People can also call Big Fireworks toll-free at (866) 514-6225 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Fridayor online at www.bigfireworks.com, then click on the recall tab at the bottom of the page for more information.
