Kershaw County, SC (WLTX) -- Saturday 48-year-old Antonio Green was arrested by Kershaw County Sheriff Deputies who had responded to a call for help from his son.
Deputies say Green, of Bunker Hill Road in Elgin, reportedly was intoxicated and got into an argument with his son early Saturday morning. Deputies report the argument was over some missing keys.
They report that Green allegedly hit the boy in the head with a flashlight, and his fists. The son then ran away from the home, going to nearby neighbors asking for help, who then phoned 911.
Kershaw County EMS also was dispatched to the scene to treat the son, transporting him to an area hospital. Deputies interviewed the victim at the hospital, as well as photographing his injuries.
Kershaw Deputies arrested Green at his home, charging him with assault and battery 2nd degree. Later on Saturday Green's bond was set at $20,000, and is being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center.
According to Deputies, Green has a criminal history that includes multiple DUI arrests, criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, assault and battery, and numerous resisting arrest charges.
