Columbia, SC (WLTX) The TD Bank was robbed a little before 6 PM Friday night, according to the Richland County sheriff's department.

Sgt. Curtis Wilson said that a suspect walked into the bank and showed a gun and demanded money. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was picked up and driven off in a blue Hyundai by another suspect.

A citizen alerted the sheriff's department to apartments where one suspect was arrested.

Officers are still searching for the second suspect. Anyone with information in the case should call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
