Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies say an online post helped them make two drug arrests.

Officers say 30-year-old Jeremy Clayton is charged with distribution of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, while 24-year-old Margaret Rogers is charged with simple possession of marijuana second offense.

Sheriff Leon Lott says his officers got copies of online posts that showed what appeared to be marijuana cigarette and Clayton disrespecting the sheriff's department. In one of the posts, a hand with one of the cigarettes can be seen over a computer screen with the Richland County Sheirff's department's website displayed.

Narcotics officers say they bought marijuana from Clayton on three separate occasions, then arrested him after serving a search warrant on his home Thursday. They also arrested Rogers at the home.
