Kershaw County, SC (WLTX) - Kershaw County deputies say they want to question a man in connection to a killing that took place over the weekend.

Officers say they're looking for 22-year-old Robert Wendell Simon.

Early Saturday morning, Antwan Dixon was found dead inside a burning vehicle on Black River Road. Investigators determined that he'd been shot before the car first crashed, then caught fire.

Deputies stress that Simon is not a suspect, but they believe he may have information leading up to the time of Dixon's death. Investigators say Dixon is believed to be operating a 2000 Honda Civic DX with a broken passenger side window and South Carolina tag JAQ 444.

Anyone with information on where Simon is should call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC, or e-mail a tip in to www.midlandscrimestoppers.com. You can also text information in by texting "TIPSC" plus your message to CRIMES (274637). Either way you choose, your identity will remain anonymous, and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
