Clarendon County, SC (WLTX) - Clarendon County deputies have seized what they say was a working moonshine still.

Deputies say Monday afternoon, they got a call from a person who said they discovered what was either a moonshine still or a meth lab in a wooded area.

When officers arrived, they determined it was a still.

Inside, they say they found 700 gallons of mash. A trail from the still led to a vacant house, where officers say they found gallon jugs, more mash, and about 20 gallons of unfinished moonshine.

Officers say each gallon of moonshine is worth about $50 to $60.

Deputies haven't said if they've made any arrests in connection with the bust.
